The tec5 Operating Eletronics does not only allow to control detector arrays and detector-array based spectrometer modules, it support as well the interaction with periphery. To do so, two types of interfaces are built in: diigital I/Os as well as an I2C bus. These features are supported by all current tec5 products.

The I/O ports of the tec5 electronics are accessible at several connectors: special I/O port connector, interface FEE to interface board, additional support connecotr (USB only). Which connector is used can be controlled by software.
