Fast 16 bit Front End Electronics for
Si PDA sensors with 1MHz and CCD sensors or MCS CCD spectral
sensors with 500 kPixel per second readout rate. Minimum
exposure time can be reduced by a factor of 5 (CCD more
than a factor of two) compared to the current versions.

Quality of the tec5 CCD Preamplifier Further Improved
tec5 engineers have further improved
the quality of the CCD preamplifier by achieving now 1.5
counts rms noise at 16 bit. From now on all Sensor Boards
are supplied in the modified version.
January 03: Zeiss
MCS CCD with tec5 Preamplifier and Operating Electronics
Zeiss and tec5 are just releasing an
OEM CCD Spectrometer based on the Zeiss MCS series and Hamamatsu
S-713x series of CCD detectors. The modules have outstanding
performance in repsect to sensitivity (up to a factor of
100 more than the PDA equipped modules). They are compatible
to the tec5 family of operating electronics and software
tools.

Modes of Detector Arrays Electronics
tec5 releases an overview and introduction
to all the different operating modes supported by the tec5
electronics - a must for each detector array spectrometer
user.
USB
2.0 Interface Board
tec5 currently develops a USB interface
for the family of Operating Electronics for Detector Arrays.
Status: prottype is running, release planned for September
02. This interface complies to 2.0 protocol and is compatible
to USB 1.1.
Evaluation
Line Spectrometer Units
tec5 has released a new line of products
filling the gap between OEM components and full process
capable Spectrometer Systems, mainly usefull for evaluation
purposes. Several version covering the UV-NIR range are
available as well as a compact UV-NIR light source. (7kB)
PhotoSpectrometer
tec5 has added photometer cassette
to its product line of OEM spectrometer systems.
This results in a more affordable solution for NIR spectroscopy,
it as well offers easy combination with UV-VIS spectrometers.
