The interface electronics is the second part of the Operating Electronics, controlling the Front End Electronics and the interfacing to the host computer. It generates the sensor integration time with high accuracy (quartz based). The digitized video signals of the detector array are acquired and buffered in a FIFO memory for PC access. By means of additional input and output signals synchronization to external events (e.g. chopper) or triggering of a shutter / light source can be performed. Our drivers and software tools can handle up to 4 interface electronics.
