The MCS is the first dector array based
sprectrometer with fiber-optic input built ever (it
originates from the mid 80th). Designed for process
control from the very beginning, it is still the perfect
spectrometer module for all kinds of process measurements.
The larger body compared to the MMS series allows to
integrate various arrays with different length and height.
In addiiton, it provides improved resolution and false
light supression compared to the MMS series.

chassis which gholds grating, PDA or CCD and fiber-optic
input. Alternatively, an entrance slit can be mounted
to narrow resolution
